1. Role of the Reviewer

Reviewers support the editorial decision-making process by evaluating scientific validity, ensuring clarity and completeness, and providing constructive feedback to authors.

2. Review Process

JFSTI uses a double-blind peer review process where the identities of both reviewers and authors remain anonymous. Reviewers are expected to provide feedback within 2–3 weeks.

3. Reviewer Responsibilities

Reviewers must maintain confidentiality of manuscripts, declare conflicts of interest, and provide fair, unbiased, and constructive feedback.

4. Evaluation Criteria

Submissions should be evaluated based on originality, scientific rigor, clarity, relevance to the journal’s scope, and the contribution to the field of food science.

5. Ethical Standards

Any suspected misconduct such as plagiarism or data fabrication should be reported. Reviewers must not use unpublished information for personal benefit.
